            This application is an opportunity that could make many positive changes in your life.  SDARL is a prestigious leadership program.  It is dedicated to building South Dakota leaders so that our agriculture production and rural communities are preserved and enhanced.  The SDARL program was initiated to provide intensive leadership development experiences for a promising new generation of leaders.

            We encourage you to complete the application.  Our state needs people like you to carry on the existing efforts of current leaders and to provide new forms of leadership for our citizens.  Yes, you must make a commitment to the program, but Class I, II and III members discovered that with efficient planning and scheduling it was not be difficult to fulfill.  Leadership development can’t be rushed or pre-packaged, it is a process based on empowerment and innovation.  Upon graduation we are confident you will proclaim that your SDARL experience was a valuable, life-changing investment.  Apply now and begin preparing yourself to assume leadership roles that will make agriculture and rural communities in South Dakota better for all of us.
